"filmpalast" was founded by cologne based producer and songwriter dirk schilling...ehm...that's me...so, let me tell you the short story:after being in bands playing guitar and dealing with psychotic lead singers almost all my life i needed a change and so i started playing around in my bedroom with a synthesizer and a sampler...and made it somehow to the english dance underground and produced music ranging across the whole spectrum of the electronic genre for the last years...
then i got sick ending up "editing" instead of "playing"...i rediscovered my acoustic guitar, my voice and ended up sitting on the sofa "playing" with a big grin on my face...
