Influenced by elements of electronica, early 90s indie, electro-pop, and an occasional hint of blues, Tempting Lilu have a truly unconventional sound.
Atmospheric synths are impregnated with dirty guitars, bound together by pulsating, electronic beats. Solid, grinding baselines dive through a psychedelic undercurrent, punctuated by swirling melodies. Sardonic, at times spiteful, lyrics are delivered by breathy, sweeping vocals the result of which is an unexpected twist of sleazy innocence and playful intensity.
