Sounds Like: Felipe José is a multinstrumentist musician, also composer, arranger, thinker and listener of music. Began to study music in his natal city: Matozinhos - MG, in a marcial band where he played trumpet. He came to the São João del Rei's State Conservatory to study Violoncelo, Flute and acoustic guitar. In this city he also began to play acoustic and eletric bass. During the 2005/2006 years he integrated the "Itiberê Orquestra Família", one of the most important group of brasilian new and future music, playing there the violoncelo, flute, cavaquinho and percussion. With this orchestra he recorded the album "calendário do som" and made a turne in the latin america. He is now finishing his composition course at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where he is an active composer and arranger. He is the violocelist of "RAMO", a group of composers/musicians who play theyr own music. (www.myspace.com/gruporamo) He is the cellist of São joão del Rei's Symphonic Orchestra and the Ribeiro Bastos Orchestra. Felipe is engaged in a lot of new music groups and is composing concert pieces and chamber music.
