About Cara Suja
Defined by critics as a Psychedelic Rock-Jazz band, The Cara Suja admits to be influenced by these styles, but the members prefer to stay beyond the limits of a unique kind of music. According them "we appreciate other rhythms and we don't want to keep prisoners of a label".

Biography
Founded by Carlos Amaral (Drums) and Eloy Figueiredo (guitar) the Cara Suja band has started its career with strong influence of blues and jazz, and in 1994 they recorded their first independent CD as a duet. When Iládio Davanse (bass) and Leandro Archela (voice and guitar) joined them in 1997/2000, the band introduced new pop and psychedelic elements in its music and in 2002 they released the second work called "Corpo Sapiens". Now, they launch their new CD "Velocidade Marginal" ("Outsider Speed" in a free translation), a very interesting pop rock experience with psychedelic and jazz elements.
