djjansta became enthralled with acid jazz while listening to it on sacramento's kxjz pbs radio station 9 years ago. jansta never liked disco and formed the attitude "disco sucks" back in the early 70's when all of that disco music started replacing live musicians in nightclubs, until october 2006 when she went to a really cool nightclub in san francisco called "the supperclub" and experienced Ursula 1000 live. Jansta first heard Ursula 1000 on KXJZ. Jansta realized that night that it really takes a lot of talent and creativity to be a great d.j. like Ursula. Jansta loves great music and loves to play keyboards, synthesizers and grand pianos, and loves to record music but has a very bad case of stage-fright. DJing online feels much safer to her at this time. She is a beginner and hopes to sell her songs online so please buy them at her online myspace music store for only 99 cents a song. Hopefully she will get better and eventually traverse the globe making millions of campers happy at discos when she overcomes her stagefright, and who knows, she might even form a live band someday. Jansta admits her mind has been closed for a while but feels like it is beginning to open up as she listens to more and more of the music the younger generation has and is creating. She even likes rap. She does not want to become an "old foggy" an appreciates the new music the kids are creating. DJjansta also loves listening to XM radio Chill and Beyong Jazz. Jansta has dreamed of having recording studio since the 2nd grade. Now, with the nu technology, her dreams have come true and at an amazing small price in the comfort of her own living room.
