LOS IDIOTASIgnacio Lissarrague: voice and guitar (Los Estuches and Pollo Funky) Pelayo Antoraz: drums and backing vocals (Los Estuches, Los Molsaicos, Los Turbinas and Los Siphones)It did all start six years ago in Amsterdam. Pelayo went to live to that beautiful city in 2000 and Nacho also went to Holland a year later. Two very old friends from Valladolid who shared an obsessed liking for R..n..B, Rock and Roll, Garage, Punk Rock, Blues, Psychodelia, Jazz, Soul (even Frank Zappa). They had belonged earlier to the most legendary garage band in Valladolid, Los Estuches; such an unforgettable experience.They started playing together with Carl in Amsterdam, a Dutch friend who played guitar but he only stayed for six months with the two idiotas. From that on, they decided to continue playing the two of them since it sounded good; fresh and powerful –exactly what they wanted. In 2002 they premiered at SLEAZY FESTIVAL III in Amsterdam, making out of it a real Rock and Roll party. Afterwards, they had no problem to arrange concerts in the most significant clubs in terms of Dutch Rock and Roll and garage. They played at places like DE DIEPTE, MALOE MELO “The House of the Blues” in Amsterdam. They were even demanded for the famous BOMP'N'GRIND FESTIVAL in Utrecht, and so good it was that the next year, in 2003 they were again called to share stage with the American band The Hard Feelings. The first time they played in Spain was in 2003, and the place was of course the Panic Bar, in Medina del Campo (Valladolid). This same year they shared stage in LVP (Leiden) with the colleague band from Valladolid, Harla Horror, who was on tour in Holland. In 2003 they also recorded their first album at Rock Supplies Studio of Amsterdam – with the participation of Remco Frÿns. We cannot forget the spontaneous participation in the very well mentioned festival “Medina Sonora” in Medina del Campo In 2004 Los Idiotas keep on rocking through Holland. Moreover, they play in Switzerland and they even go on a tour around Spain together with the famous Holland garage band The Skidmarks. The same year they include one of their songs on the compilation recorded as Medina Sonora III: Terror Sonoro.There was a break down in 2005 when Pelayo returns back to Spain. They did not spot radically to play in places such as PRIMITIVE FESTIVAL II – Dutch International Garage Festival, and they recorded again a song for Medina Sonora IV:Fugaz, having concerts in Amsterdam and Spain. But the distance keeps on disturbance the evolution of the band, also in 2006. Finally, sometime on that year Nacho comes back to Spain too. At the end of 2006 they restart training regularly. They compose new songs and come back to the stage – the place they prefer. They performance in places such as the HOMAGE TO MANOLO TRUJILLO, NORTE ROCK FESTIVAL... At the beginning of 2007 they went to record in Magoo Studio in Oviedo. They have got two EPs at the end of 2007,one for the American discography SLOVENLY RECORDINGS and other one for Spanish discography IEKK! SOUNDS...DON'T MISS THEM AND KEEP ON ROCKIN..!!!!!!!
