In_zekT was formed in Drammen, Norway in the summer of 2002 by brothers Peter and Niklas Vindél. A common love of modern rock and industrial bands like Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Tool, and Linkin Park influence their modern rock with an industrial edge sound. A supporting gig for Ministry on their 2003 European tour alerted the Norwegian music business to their existence and favorable press and local radio quickly followed. They have since risen to become of the most promising acts in the Norwegian rock-scene.
Ministry’s Al Jourgenson was so impressed with this young band that he forwarded their demo to his Revolting Cocks bandmate Luc van Acker
, now a major music producer. Luc instantly loved what he heard and agreed to produce their debut album. As a result of their work with Van Acker noted mixing engineers Chris Vrenna
(Nine Inch Nails,Marilyn Manson, U2, P.O.D.) and Ken Marshall
(Linkin Park, Skinny Puppy, Deftones), are currently mixing the new album.
