Helena Soluna

Helena Soluna is a Swedish artist and composer whose musical journey embraces both jazz and world music. She has performed at the Stockholm jazz festival, at the prestigious Casa de las Américas in Havanna, Cuba, and she preceeded the Grammy award winner Cuban pianist Bebo Valdès at Vasby Jazz festival, Sweden.Her deep interest in the healing and spiritual aspects of the voice, has led to the creation of a method of training the voice while integrating the body– Voice-in-power.The method is about liberating energy and finding one's true vocal force and expression through sounds combined with movements inspired from martial arts, yoga and qi gong.
