He started playing the drums with a group of friends almost by chance at the age of 14. These early beginnings, together with a passion for his instrument of choice, led him to pursue a musical career. He first played with several rock bands, before moving towards the percussions when he first discovered Safri Duo, a Danish band that expertly blends electronic dance music with the rhythms and percussions of various cultures. He later discovered the Hang by chance, played in the streets of Milan by a road artist, and it was love at first sight. Enchanted by the sound of the instrument, he decided to set up, with the help of talented harpist Patrizia Borromeo - with whom he already played in an ensemble of medieval music called Sage Green - an acoustic duo known as Chakra Vacuum. The pair have developed a distinctive style, blending Celtic/Irish sounds and melodies with the rhythms, sonorities and atmospheres of the Mediterranean and middle East areas, using instruments such as the darbuka, the udu drum, the frame drums, the tabla - which he has perfected with the help of M° Nicola Artico following the "gharana" method - the djembé, the bongos and the didjeridoo, and performing at several live events and international festivals like Celtica (Ao), BustoFolk (Va), RAI Tv (Bg), Celtival (Tv)..... and also in Irish Pubs in Milan and throughout Northern Italy. Endorser Percussion Village for the marks Tama Drums, Sabian Cymbals and Yamaha Electronic, he has presented several electroacoustic sets with bass, percussions and stick, together with members of Pindaric Flight and The Unshaped Quartet, bands in which he habitually plays the drums. With Andrea Breviglieri, the other side of rhytmic medal, he play in a side project of the italian dark gothic band Dakrua "voices" William Quattrone and Eva Rondinelli know as Elyge. Through the Italian Hang Quintet, in collaboration with Davide Swarup, Guido Rolle & Massimo Lodoletti - know as ManoSonora - and Luca Bert, he promotes the hang with jams and workshops in local pubs and clubs throughout Italy. He play the hang during session of reiki, yoga, shiatsu, pilates and other body disciplines in several yoga centers in Milan. He has recorded seven CDs (a solo album of hang, three cds with his past and actually band, an EP with duo harp/percussions, a promo Ep with psychedelic prog metal trio and hang scores on the last album of famous italian folk band Lingalad), he workin' at first album for Chakra Vacuum, in '00/'01 he graduated at SAE International Technology College for Sound Engineer in Milan and has collaborated with several bands and artists in Italy, Holland, Canada and Austria.
