About Me

Out On A Limb Records is an independent record label based in Limerick City, Ireland. The label was set up in the summer of 2003 with the release of "Is it OK to be loud, Jesus?", the debut album from local band giveamanakick. Since then, the label has put out six more albums and two split singles. Acts that we have released albums from include giveamanakick, Rest, Ten Past Seven, Waiting Room & windings.
Out On A Limb Records aim to continually release innovative, quality recordings that are kept to a low cost for the listener. All OOAL releases can be found in all good record shops in Ireland. While currently we don't have overseas distribution, all releases are available worldwide via our website. Recently, our newest releases have become available in digital format (Itunes/Playlouder.com etc) worldwide, and we hope to make our entire back catalogue available as such.
2007 has seen Crayonsmith and Hooray For Humans join the label.The next release is Hooray For Humans debut single "Signature" (available digitally Oct 12th) and their debut LP "Safekeeping" (available on CD and digital October 26th). Out On A Limb is currently working with a full roster of acts. Thus, we are not looking to receive demos/recordings for the foreseeable future.
