Band Members:Luckily my father blessed me with a voice as good as his own. The Cool Collective Company in Charleville was where i started singing publicly with a fine bunch of artists. I moved to London in my very late teens and began learning the craft of performing bit by bit from there. I sang original songs in the famous Twelve Bar Club, Denmark Street which recieved a great response and worked wonders for the ego. I mostly worked with a guy called Frank Savage, who taught me alot, from recording music to the life unknown. After moving back to Ireland in my late 20s i hooked up with Craig O´Neill of ESKIMOTWIN and together we organised a band for my 30th bash with Toby from WIGGLE and Kurt of BASS ODESSY. From there we both held a Saturday night spot in An Bodhrán, Cork and never failed to fill the house! A year later i decided to move to Spain and began working in a different duo known as CAGEY with Grainne Gormley and also performing solo gigs. Returning back to Ireland for the winter season working solo and in duos either with Craig or Grainne. Returning back to Spain in 2006 i had organised hooking up with Mama Paula to see what we could do together. In the end the BIRDS OF PARADISE were formed and have been enjoying a busy schedule in the Costa del Sol since then.I now work almost freelance if possible. Apart from the Birds of Paradise i work solo or with other artists with a vocal vacancy for a night or two... am enjoying writing lyrics at the moment and looking forward to a chance to hear them lift from the paper to air! All that will come soon : ) I am planning my return to Ireland in December and am very excited about humming a few tunes with Craig O´Neill again. I will be available for solo, duo bookings in Ireland from December and am open to any ideas that may arise...
