WHAT:
MusicianStock is a biannual event held in Dayton, Ohio. It is for musicians, media & industry professionals. Our purpose is for you to make essential connections with other musicians and industry professionals from the tri-state area and to receive info designed to launch your band beyond your local scene. We hold a show afterward featuring various regional bands. The show is open to the public.

MusicianStock was held on Saturday, May 10th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. The next one will be held October '08. This event is for industry professionals only. Doors open to the public at 7:30pm.

WHO:
Anyone in the music industry is welcome to attend - Musicians, Booking Agents, Promoters, Studios, Photographers, Etc. - Anyone
We also invite local media outlets to the event. If you are involved in radio, television or print media, please let us know. All media inquiries may be sent to: [email protected]
The whole point is to have someone here representing your band! Even if just one or two members of your band can make it, that is great! Feel free to bring business cards, demos, fliers etc if you have them!
WHY:
Anyone who has been involved in the music business for any length of time knows that networking is vital to your success! This is an opportunity for you to do just that!
HOW MUCH:
$5 for MusicianStock.
$7 for the show afterwards.
$10 for both.
There are no presell tix, just come as you are and pay at the door.
Gracing our stage for the 5/10 MusicianStock:
Saving Litchfield (Red Lotus Records)is an incredible Christian pop punk/powerpop/rock band from the Toledo, OH area. They have been featured in AP and Substream magazines, among others. Their new EP, Actions was released on 1/15/08 and is being followed by an extensive tour of the midwest.
Katius is a rock/pop punk/punk band based out of Dayton, OH. This quintet of talented musicians has graced stages all over the tri-state and have just released their new CD, The Getaway.
Lumaera is a 3 piece band with a sound all it's own. With their unique "melodic metal" sound, they have grabbed the attention of fans wherever they play.
Wygant is an energetic 3 piece hard rock band based in Dayton, Ohio. The release of their debut CD, "A World Called Home" is expected to be completed by Summer ’08, followed by a tour throughout the tri-state area and beyond!
Vice On Victory is a powerpop/rock band out of Columbus, Ohio. Citing numerous personal influences, they are in the planning stages of their upcoming summer tour.
