Hey guys. My names Jeff Briant. I’m a guitar player/composer/sound engineer/musician from Ontario, Canada. My interests include playing guitar, recording and writing music, studying film producing/directing and other projects I’ve been working on. I have been playing guitar for some time now. I’ve been teaching, as well as learning privately and in local music stores.
Life... Life is an implausible destination of equilibrium. By this I mean that no matter what happens in your life, you never really know what is going to result. Yet everything always evens out in the end (or so we are told).
As it stands now, my life has been going under some serious remodeling. First I lose a job due to a bad choice at work. Then that bad choice is escalated to an even bigger problem due to some meddlesome neighbor of mine mendaciously throwing me into open flame. Next I try to get a job numerous times and fail. Even then I still manage to keep a clean, solid, and incredible relationship with the woman I love, Amanda.
With all these hardships and holes along the way, I see light. I see something in the distance that will eventually turn into a series of fortunate events that will brighten up myself as a person. These things, in some points of view, are instances of hope. In the place where I am I think the descent thing to do is to meander through as many career possibilities as possible. This to prepare for something that is far bigger than I can imagine. Something good, something happy, something incredible, something to look forward to.
So I say this; Live! Live out your life as if there’s nothing left but great things for you in the future. Let your girl hold you all night, let your mom stay for dinner, let your car sit in your driveway and WALK, explore the world and have the time of your life doing it! Life’s here to stay, so unless you get used to it and enjoy it, it will eat you alive. -Jb
