After a few months of rehearsing, founding member and lead singer Heldre decided to call it quits and the band began the search for a new vocalist. The first one to show up and audition was ex-Vicious Oscar’s Dinnie, who did a smashing job on the Guns covers and was immediately enlisted. The old songs were updated a little, remaining in the classic sleazy blues-rock style, and Dinnie began getting in shape to bring them live.
Not long after that, the first gigs came and the band recorded two songs at studio TRAX in Gent (Spandex Spankin’ and Captain Morgan). This disc is no longer being sold as a promo, seen as it has proven no longer to be representative for the band’s musical capacity.
With new songs ready or coming up, the band is gearing up to hit the stage at full force and bring a rock n’ roll attack with Whoremones, High Noon Blues and others still in the running to be completed somewhere in time. To liven up the show, some covers that brought the band together in the first place are still being played (You Could Be Mine by Guns n’ Roses and Mötley Crüe’s Wild Side among others).We write 24 August 2007, and only two members remain, because of different reasons JTW and JJ parted ways with Dinnie, Sexboek and Butch.
