Murdock, a Belgian rockband anno 2008.

Point nr 1:
At the end of the year 2002 the formation, also known as the rockband Murdock (you might have heard of them), joins forces and records an eight track demo. It is recorded during rehearsels at the Barefoot studios, by Arjan- The Fantastic.
Point nr 2:
Intensive touring comes as an inevitable result; Belgium meets a young, loud and challenging new band.
Point nr 3:
2004; the need for a better demo is a common feeling in the band and with the help of Luc Crabbe (Betty Goes Green!!) their desire becomes a fact.
Point nr 4:
"You should've known by now", with two old and two new songs is sold out within the year.
Point nr 5:
Young and faithfull followers of the band find their way to gigs, bandsite and myspace. They're mainly male, it must be a sexual thing…
Point nr 6:
From then on, new songs, better rehearsels and better gigs come at an, almost, unhuman rate. New recordings are very needed and before they know it, they're back at Lunabarn with Luc- The Amazing."These go to eleven", in honour of Spinal Tap, is their 2006 demo. It's packed with eight tracks that make your eardrums bleed…
Point nr 7:
Again touring the land, blah, blah, blah, big and small stages, once even no stage at all, gabba, gabba, more and more fans, a roadie joins in, yaaauwn…
Point nr 8:
Around 2007, Murdock joins the Myspaceproject Life After Sugar: Tribute, by D (we love you man!). With good help of Arjan-The incredible, they cover Changes and the following reviews are unmistakebely favourable…
Point nr 9:
Meanwhile, the bandmembers get older, married or commited. They get a job, children and more important responsabilities…
WAIT A MINUTE!!! This didn't come out right, did it?
Meanwhile, the rock that makes the band rolling becomes an avalanche: they get better all the time…
Point nr 10:
August 2008: Five souls share their free time and unconditional commitment in an artform for the ears. They are packing for a challenge they took .., but in a scale and experience they never dared to dream of.
Now… within a few hours they will enter the arena, hell why not: the arena of the Barefoot Studio. In seven days Arjan-The divine will engage the band with guidance and strength during their recording of their new, uhm, record.

Murdock’s new album “The great deceiver†will be released on Saturday 20 sept 2008. Come and see the show or/and buy the album!!!!!!!!!!!!!
