Burum

Ffurfiwyd ‘Burum’ yn 2006 pan ymunodd y pibydd Ceri Rhys Matthews gyda band y brodyr Tomos a Daniel Williams. Rhyddhawyd record cyntaf y band ‘Alawon’ ar label Fflach ym mis Mawrth, 2007, mewn noson yng Nghanolfan Dylan Thomas, Abertawe, gyda’r gitarydd anhygoel Jean-Paul Bourelly.
‘Burum’ was formed in 2006 when hornpipe player Ceri Rhys Matthews joined the ‘Williams Quintet’ to try out new arrangements of Welsh folk tunes. The band released its first album ‘Alawon: The Songs of Welsh Folk’ in March 2007 at the Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea in the company of guitar maestro Jean-Paul Bourelly.
