BIOA four piece thrash/doom metal band from thesmall city of Fort Smith, Arkansas who takes their name from the most debated subject inthe world. Their music is a recipe of oldschool 70's hard rock and modern inspiredprogressive twin guitar. Formed in 1997 under the moniker Claymore, theoppression of being raised in a rural, bible-belt community was just what theyneeded to conjure convincingly ferocious guitar riffs, thundering and yetintricate drum beats, and undeniably truth felt vocal melodies and lyrics from two leadvocalists both male and female. Their lyricsoffer a brutal reflection on what it's like tolive as a thinking american in the currenttimes we live in. Playing the regional circutfor years, they became quite well known in themetal scene in Arkansas & Texas. Their song has been featured on the CDsampler included in issue 91 of theinternational magazine Brave Words & BloodyKnuckles. Their music has been played on 95.3the X in Fort Smith, 104.5 the Edge in Tulsa,OK. The band has also given away over 2,000four song CD-Rs as gifts with flyers for theirshows.
