Influences: Based out of Los Angeles California, 40 Cycle Hum have been gaining the praise of audiences with their unique blend of melody and metal. With razor-sharp hooks and chops to spare, this hard-rock quartet is ready to hit the mainstream. Armed with musically dynamic songs and catchy vocal melodies, 40 Cycle Hum has all the elements of a hard rock success story. Upon seeing one of the band's live performances, Norwood Fisher of the band FISHBONE was eager to release 40 Cycle Hum's 2006 debut "Secret Skin" on their label, NSF5 Records. The CD was distributed throughout the United States and Canada on Allegro/Nail Distribution. With their first national release under their belt and hundreds of live performances to their credit, the band began working on their follow up CD. 40 Cycle Hum entered a North Hollywood rehearsal studio in November 2006 to fine tune material for their next effort. Once the material was solid, the band locked out Next Level Recording Studios in Culver City, recruiting famed producer Stevo Bruno (Motley Crue, Five Finger Death Punch, Drowning Pool, Prong, Union Underground) to Engineer and Produce the follow up to 2006's "Secret Skin". There is a great deal of anticipation surrounding the release of the new CD, "Entertaining Misery", which will be released Late Spring 2008. 40 Cycle Hum plan to tour heavily in support of both releases and will stop at nothing to give their fans what they want...40 CYCLE HUM!! :
