Guitar is what I do. It's what I live for, and what I hope to die for, with honor and pride rising from my pyre.
I've played with some big names, auditioned for some big names, and have been asked to play with some big names quite a bit recently, but let me start from the beginning...
I toured with a regional cover band called False Witness in the mid eighties, and learned how to drink heavily and stay reasonably in tune. In 1990 I was featured in Guitar Player Magazine's "Spotlight" column, and moved to the San Francisco area to record with the Minneapolis-based hard-rock band "Scream Parade" for Mike Varney's Shrapnel Records. In the nineties I played with a couple Omaha badasses in a 3-piece instrumental group called JRZ System, and in 2000 all 3 of us joined up with Stephen Pearcy of Ratt for a few years worth of tours and solo CDs. After that I played a couple of shows with Ratt, and joined W.A.S.P. for a minute.
Lately I've been making noise with the Los Angeles 4-piece 40 Cycle Hum. Our first release, which was distributed through Allegro/Nail Distribution, has been out since July '06. Right now we are preparing to release our second disc, which we recorded with Producer/Engineer/Troublemaker Stevo Bruno. Stevo, who earned his first platinum record on the last Motley Crue disc, has been hard @ work on our follow-up, which will be released sometime this year.
