About Me

Hello everyone and welcome to my site!
The songs on this page represent different styles that I write and perform. If you have the time, please have a listen to them all as the songs cover different styles. Back to Home is a Funky Blues song featuring a beat up old resonator guitar that I play slide on as well as a standard American Strat for the solo section. Elishala is a World music influenced song featuring an Algerian Mandole for the main melodies and again the resonator guitar for the solo section. Infinite is a very chilled out song featuring an Ibanez AF105 and a Takamine EN10. Rollercaster is a Rock Funk song featuring a standard American Stratocaster. The last song Green and Red is a Latin influenced song featuring the Takamine EN10.
About me.
I am a Canadian guitarist/performer/session musician/composer and tutor based in London England. As a performer I have had the good fortune to work with many talented musicians. I have also had the opportunity to work in many different countries around the world. I have worked extensively throughout Canada, the U.S.A. and England as well as Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bosnia, Argentina, Portugal, Ethiopia and Japan. I love to travel and have also visited Morroco, Turkey, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Singapore, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia. Through my travels I have been influenced by music from these different cultures. It has been a joy to experience first hand the amazing rhythms and harmonic differences that these cultures have to offer.
I have received accolades for my playing in many high profile print publications. The ones I am most proud of are Canadian Musician Magazine (Canada’s largest selling music publication), Guitar Magazine U.S.A. and most recently Guitar Player Magazine U.S.A. My song Elishala received a great review in the Myspace top 8 guitarists section in the October 2007 issue. You can read the review online at guitarplayer.com I have also appeared on Much Music (The MTV of Canada) where I placed 2nd out of 1500 entrants in a national guitar competition.
Besides being a performer/composer, I also have a busy guitar-teaching schedule. I teach privately and am a peripatetic guitar teacher at various primary schools around London.
I also offer custom guitar tracks for musicians/ producers that do not have access to a guitarist nearby. I have recorded guitars for producers and musicians in both the U.K. and North America. This can all be done via the internet using .wav and MP3 files. The styles I am most proficient in are rock, pop, blues, funk, r&b, reggae and smooth jazz. I can either come to you to record or you can send me MP3 files.I can record the guitar parts and send them back to you in .wav format. I use a service called yousendit to send large files via the internet. I use Paypal or bank transfer to receive payment.
If you like what you hear on this page and would like to hire me for performance, recording, composition or tuition, please contact me via this page.
Thanks for visiting my page. I hope you enjoy the music.
