Imagine ist ein zweitägiges Festival gegen Vorurteile, Gewalt und Rassismus. Zum 6. Mal fand es am 8. und 9. Juni 2007 auf dem Barfüsserplatz, im Herzen von Basel, statt. Mit 35'000 Besucher ist Imagine das grösste Festival der Nordwestschweiz und das einzige, jährlich stattfindende Festival gegen Rassismus. Doch auch wenn beim Projekt die zwei Tage Konzert- und Showprogramm am Festival und die Vorveranstaltungen im Zentrum stehen: Hauptsache ist die inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung, mit der die Entstehung und die Folgen des alltäglichen Rassismus thematisiert und Lösungsansätze aufgezeigt werden.

Imagine is a two days festival against prejudice, violence and racism. For the 6th time it takes place from 8th until 9th June on the "Barfüsserplatz" in the middle of Basel. With 35'000 visitors Imagine is the biggest festival in Northwest Switzerland and the only festival against racism that takes place every year. But even when the main point of the project are the two-day-concert and show programme and the preactivities: The main thing is the dispute about the contents for example the origin and the consequences from daily racism and what you could do against it.
