TZEE

Tzee pronounced ‘TEE ZEE’ was born in Tanzania in Arusha.Tzee perfoms solo with an acoustic guitar or perfoms with his band Africa Beyond. He started playing a guitar at a tender age of 11 taught by his grand father ,who was a local Masai tribal musician..Tzee joined a Masai Tribal choir at 14 and performed with the choir at traditional gatherings. Tzee went to high school in neighbouring Kenya and started to write songs in Swahili in his spare time.It was there that he earned a nickname Tzee ‘the singing masai boy’.In Tanzania Tz is short for Tanzania hence the nickname Tzee. Tzee later joined a bongo flava African (Rhythm and Blues) group.
