This special group of musicians is the core that make up the roots and cultural sounds of the D.A.P.P. Band.The D.A.P.P. Band had been the foundational roots sound of the MidNite Band for 5 years (00-05). Making some adjustments, these musicians are now ready to create and deliver a new roots and cultural sound that will help to uplift the spirit and consciousness in people of all nations.The conscious sounds of Reggae music have now taken on a strong International root and the music is in high demand. The D.A.P.P. Band have been representing the Virgin Islands on the International market for the past 7 years, as individuals and as part of a group, and have now created a unique sound of music that is second to none. The Band’s musicians are not only skillful and innovative; they also carry a spiritual and passionate love for “Reggae musicâ€, which in Latin means “The King’s Musicâ€! It is no surprise that this brotherhood of musicians have remained bonded together to form the D.A.P.P. band.The members of the Band has traveled and performed throughout the West Coast, East Coast and Brazil in addition to performing at many major Reggae Festivals such as R.O.T.R, S.N.W.M.F. and the Hardrock Café Hawaii.The D.A.P.P. Band takes pride in bringing live roots music to the forefront. The strong foundation of the “ONE DROP†which is the Drum and Bass, along with the sweet innovative sounds of the guitar and the artistic accompaniment of the Keyboards creates this positive vibration, which is guaranteed to take you on a spiritual ride.The D.A.P.P. Band represents the Power of Oneness, Brotherhood, and Love in motion of Word, Sound and Power.
