Recording album & updating ourselves!

About Me

..
Rheya is the sound of something familiar sprinkled with a uniquely fresh and exceptional twist of brilliance! They present sing-a-longable pop pieces, edgy rock anthems and singer-songwriter poetry, all spun together by the distinctive sound of Rheya .
Swedish-born Charlotta Larsen and London guitarist Robert Dodds met in music school. Together their influences range from Aerosmith, Jeff Buckley and Stevie Ray Vaughan to Whitney Houston, Dixie Chicks and Ella Fitzgerald. They found that these influences laid an interesting foundation in their prolific songwriting together. Rheya define their sound as pop extended into rock, soul, blues, country, jazz and anything else that can be musically inspiring. Therefore, when experiencing Rheya live or on a recording you'll find a bunch of songs which appeal to most people. There is something in Rheya for everyone.
Rheya 's live performance is always something different. Either way they're going to grab you by your wits and have you begging for more! They have played some of London's most famous venues, ranging from stripped down acoustic gigs at The Troubadour to playing with a full band at the world renowned Shepherd's Bush Empire.
Rheya are currently working on their debut album, which will be released sometime in 2008! Check back for updates!
