About Me

Hi, I'm Bud _____________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________My picture is a picture of my hometown, Kinderhook, N.Y. The first picture taken circa 1870, the second one taken from as near as the same standing point, in 2004. Other than the paving of the streets and the power lines, you can see the Village has changed very little. That is why I am a Small Town Guy. I come from a small town. But sadly I don't live in a small town anymore. _____________________________________________________I'm on here as I’m always looking to make friends and meet interesting people. But I’m also here because I love music. I look for people I have never heard of whose music is interesting to me. I love Folk Rock/ Acoustic/Folk/Rock and Indie most of all, and they are the artist that I look for. Thus you can always come to my site and find someone you may never have heard of before who you will love. I know that I have found many and continue to look for more. But please don’t think I don’t still love pure Rock and Roll, along with Jazz, Blues, and most everything. Although, Rap is not on my list of favorite music. I guess I have become a bit more laid back in my music tastes as I have gotten older. I no longer feel compelled to keep up with the 20 year old music scene. Thats not to say I don’t like any of the new younger music but I don’t need to follow it like I use to years ago. I do have a niece that keeps me up on it though so I do listen to it from time to time. That being said, I of course enjoy hitting live concerts, even if it means traveling a bit to get to them. If you go down to the Feist video and watch how she performs the song, there is a total difference between seeing the performance and just listening to the same song on her CD.On other fronts I like to travel. Day trips, weekend trips etc. I usually spend a month or so up north in the summer. Mostly to escape the hurricane season, (don’t hate me for that). I drive up and back, thus take tours along the way. The east coast and Blue Ridge Mountains are always nice to see.Movies, dining, art and craft fairs, museums, baseball games, NASCAR are also a few things I enjoy doing. And of course I am always open to new thing. There are plenty of things in life yet to explore. So that is a little bit about me, but trust me there is plenty more. I say that with a smile.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Bruce Springsteen - Live at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles CA on September 30, 1985 -What was true in 1985 is so true today!____________+++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++.. .. .. .. ..

My Interests

Travel, Music, oh the general things most people like to do. Get the most out of life when we can.+++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++

I'd like to meet:

I guess most of all I would love to meet Bob Dylan. I almost met him when he was passing thru Woodstock. He stopped and visited a couple of the boys from The Band. I visited them the next night. Missed him by a day, probably never will get another chance. Other than that, I've have already met a few, various types of people. My meaning of this is, artist, politicians, actors, celebrates and of course musicians. At the time of meeting them I was impressed, but quickly realized that they, like the rest of us, are just people. Some yes do very important things that we should be proud of but then again others have not. Last summer I met Hillary Clinton; will she be the next president of the United States? I don't know, but if not then I would like to meet the Democrat President in 2009.

Music:

Almost all types, although not a big fan of rap or hip-hop. New artist are alway a thrill to find. So it is rock, folk, alternative, country, jazz, blues etc. etc. +++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++ ..Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player.
