I am a stained glass artist.
To me, one of the most amazing things in the world is glass.
I love the textures.
The grains and small subtleties that make each and every piece of glass so unique.
I love the colors that change and morph into something so beautiful - simply because sunlight sets them aglow.
I didn't always feel this way about glass.
Mine is a love, an art discovered through necessity.
I began working with glass to repair some of the broken window panes I had in my home.
I live in a neighborhood where colored window panes add character to wonderfully old and majestic homes.

The organization.
The beauty.
The Frank Lloyd Wright theme sets this neighborhood apart.
After repairing my own windows, commissions took off and the neighborhood helped me learn and grow and fine tune my glass.
My art.
Today, when I work, the glass makes me happy.
I lose myself in the process and just create.
Lately, I've been cutting and combining brightly colored pieces of glass, creating a variety of animals, both wild and domestic.
Commissions are varied from panes that echo natural forms to the colourful creates that roam the hills.
Life is good.
I'm happy to have found such an art to live by.
