L!ghtworker*T

L!ghtworker*T is Thomas Matzka, songwriter/singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, lightworker and visionary from Eisenstadt (Austria).
The world is changing. There is constant change. A flood of offers. An avalanche of stimuli. It’s not always easy to find enough time to make the correct decisions…
Please take the time to accompany me on his path, my vision of peace, joy and freedom. Lively – as colourful as the rainbow – and strengthened by the endless power of the light and its energy.
It’s music from the land of the sun. From his “Castlecountry”, Burgenland. Heart warming in its honesty and analogue. Danceable and earthy. Songs for love and therefore peace on earth. A musical collage to be compared with something between Cat Stevens and John Lennon with influences mainly from folk-rock-reggae-groove-funk.
Working with the light is a major theme of my creative work and this is reflected in the positive texts of my songs, in the atmosphere while recording as well as in the harmonious choice of tones. Letting my intuition guide me plays an important part in all this.
I draw my strength from the simple things in life, from my dedication for and my work in nature with its precious elements and fruits. I regularly meditate and then use the connections between sounds, colours and chakras. I glide through life with open eyes (and ears) and often the light worker becomes light in both senses of the word. The eye gives light to the body (Matthew 6, Verse 22).
Biography of L!ghtworker*T, Thomas Matzka:
1976-1980 completed studies and tuition at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory, Eisenstadt (recorder, guitar, composition, orchestra and harmony) /
1980-1981 private guitar tuition with Robert Müntz /
1981-1986 appearances with first own songs, as soloist and in various ensembles (musical tour, ORF = Austrian State Broadcasting Service, Jeunesse) /
1986-1988 setting up of the Tommy Matzka Band followed by tour with full evening programme and first recordings at the ORF /
1988-1989 manager of the rock band “Baton Rouge” /
1994-1997 development of own recording studio “Private Brains” and subsequently numerous productions (e.g. own productions “Tom & Tom”, Lala-Brooks-USA) /
1997-1998 private singing tuition with Richard Amon, Vienna /
1997-2001 setting up of the “Crunk” band, studio recordings follow in the new “Klonk Studio”, launching of own label “Klonk Records”, bringing out of the “th&” album with subsequent tour /
2001 building of new production studio “T*L!ght Studio” /
2002 as “L!ghtworker*T”, song writing, studio recordings and various contract work, solo /
2003 composition and music production to Bert Striegl’s “Shiatsu” video clip /
2005 producer of the album “Du bist Liebe” (“You are love”) by Scherie & Wujoe (meditation CD) and recording of debut album “L!ghtworker*T (13 songs) /
2006 production of Sista Iv’s debut album "Vo mein Leben" (From My Life)
2006 completion of album “L!ghtworker*T” /
2007 L!ghtworker*T coming-out live in Mariastein (Tyrol/Austria) /
2008 in march release of the new album-CD "Light Fidelity" (listen to the 3 song-parts in my profile!)
