Laia Boixadós Escalé is born in Manresa, Barcelona in 1983. She discovers her voice at the age of 11 playing in her father's band, being Soul, R&B and funk her main first styles. Later, starts singing with the Gospel Group "Esclat Gospel Singers" directed by Ramon Escalé, BEing these the first steps on stage as a singer and in the choir. At the same time starts her musical studies at l'Esclat School of Music and in the Manresa Conservatory. After this, Laia discovers jazz, influenced by her father's passion. Starts and finishes her studies at l'Aula de Musica Moderna i Jazz de Barcelona.
In the following years, the singer and arranger creats and performs with several bands, among them "White heaven" and the A Capella group "Landa".
Nowadays, Laia is studying Contemporary Writing and Production at the Berklee College of Music in Boston after receiving a Scholarship from the same one.
Some of the performances to highlight are "Festival de Musica Viva de VIc", Teatre de Musica el Liceu de Barcelona", Festival Ictineu de Manresa", "Festival de musica de Tossa de Mar", among other renouned usic clubs such as "Teatre Nacional de Catalunya".

Actualment, Laia Boixados Escale esta cursant estudis de veu, arrenjaments, composicio i produccio al ..Berklee College of Music.., Boston.
Ha actuat amb festivals com el Festival de Musica Viva de Vic, Teatre de Musica del Liceu, Festival Ictineu de Manresa, Festival de Musica de Tossa de Mar, Folk Rural, i sales de renom a Barcelona I voltants.
