About Me

hello myspace --- glad to be here! after spending the last several years doing lots of freelance work, i've pretty much given up the cover band scene to concentrate on my own stuff, and a couple of other projects i think are cool --- late summer / autumn '07 was spent travelling coast to coast with coco love alcorn and her husband simon farla - a great experience for sure! --- i also spent much of last year playing with the wonderful teresa riley, and we'll continue doing shows when she's not flying 767's to and fro here and there --- and as of may '08, i'm back playing guitar with Brickhouse, thursdays at the fairview, and fri thru sun at the yale, baby..... i'll also be playing blues at the yale and the old admiral, from time to time. besides that, i'm getting set to record a cd of my music with awesome drummer/producer/guy nathan wiley, so i'll probably have some new music up by summer. also, if you have a sec, please have a look at my other project 'a box of stars' (see link below). and check out my blogs for prose and poetry, if you dare...

Influences: probably everything i've ever heard and everyone i've ever played with. in particular: jon brooks, rob bracken (brickhouse), coco love alcorn, sherman doucette, incognito, brandi watts (sweet axe), teresa riley, jack lavin, ernie cappellacci (my guitar teacher), adriane dawn enns, mom & dad, todd taylor, robbie king, fred webster and his minions al and eric. i'm into all kinds of music because there's really only one kind - m_u_z_a_k - love it :)
