Randi Boulton

I'm a Canadian singer/songwriter/musician whose roots run deep in Alberta. I was raised as a farm girl outside of Big Valley but now reside in Red Deer. Music has always been a passion of mine despite having no music program at the school I attended. Besides childhood piano lessons and a couple of guitar/vocal lessons, I play by ear and am basically self-taught.Singing is something that I've been doing since I was a child. Often I found myself alone with my piano and guitar playing melodic sounds with a flood of thoughts running through my mind putting me in a place of peace and solitude. Writing was never intentional or planned but I always found it to be natural.After writing, producing and releasing my first album "Just Remember Who You Are", (which is SOLD OUT), as well as performing in a host of different venues for the past few years, I have found a new confidence in my talents and I am thrilled to share my songs with everyone. I grew up listening to Jann Arden, Sarah McLachlan and so many other talented Canadian singer/songwriters. These artists have been great influences, and their distinct approaches to music have encouraged me to develop my own style and repertoire.I have been fortunate enough to share the stage with some amazing musicians: Mavis Staples, George Fox, the Armchair Cynics, Wil (I break strings), Colin Linden ( Blackie & The Rodeo Kings), Bill Bourne, Teresa Riley, Aaron Pritchett, and Michael Carey. Thank you to everyone that has supported my music. I am excited to show you what I am about. A new chapter has begun.~Randi~
