Biography:

Underground Railroad are set to release their new "STICKS AND STONES" album for One Little indian records UK, in Automn 2008.Recorded in March 2008 with producer John Goodmanson ( Blonde redhead, Sleater Kinney, Bikini Kill, ...) in Seattle, WA. the band takes a new direction and lets psychedelic melodies mixed with electronics take over songs like "sticks and stones", "poems for freaks" or "Stuff in your pocket". Bitter sweet pop songs came also along the way "Kill", "25" or "6 pieds sous terre" are there to comfort and discomfort you, some of these including Seattle's prodigal cello player Phil A. Peterson.Their last tour ended up in Berlin, Amsterdam and New York, opening for punk legends Dinosaur Junior, or playing to a packed prestigious Knitting Factory. But make sure to catch them live again, as the band will hit the European roads again this Automn.
