In the style of pop/rock, the Norwegian/German based band Following Bob founded by singer/songwriter Vegar Nesset are at the moment in the middle of recording sessions and touring. Directing their efforts towards building an audience throughout the world with the release of an album and worldwide touring in mind.
So to all major record companies; DO NOT HESITATE TO GET IN CONTACT. They are also taking part in a compilation-cd (Norwegian Wood Music for China vol. 2) with the song “(it’s not) me nor you†released in China in December-07. They will also be a part of the compilation ACOUSTIKA vol 9 with the song "nothing seems right" bound to be released in the USA on the 26th of February.
Vegar Nesset; a professional musician/singer/songwriter educated at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he met Jan Erling Holberg (bass/vox), Leif-Magnus Lilleaas (guitars/vox), Peter Reckenfelderbäumer (keyboards/sax/vox) and Michael Schrant (drums/vox).
They have all taken parts in a number of musical projects including;
• The musical “Tonight†performed at London’s West End • Touring in Scotland, Germany and Norway with bands like Shadows and Lights (a Joni Mitchell tribute), B.F.B ( a Beatles tribute) etc… • The stage version of the musical “The War of The Worlds†in Liverpool • The world premier of Frank Zappa’s musical “Thing Fish†in England • Performance on German television with B.F.B. • Live radio performances on Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) with original songs. • Cloud Nine, Miller’s Angels, Malempa, Sixtyfive Cadillac, Wir sind Helden, Henning Rümenapp, Ingi, Whistler’s pride, Perfect Blue Buildings, David Morell, Maria José Hernandez, Simon Barber and Alistair Powers.
