About Me

I met Swami Satchidananda in the early seventies - took mantra initiation and sat on the pillow - everything after that was some form of grace - also the many wonderful creative others who were part of the community of IYI ( Integral Yoga Institute & International ) gave so selflessly of their hearts, minds and souls and continue to do so today...we have a beautiful network of yogis and yoginis all over the world...who never tire of this work and play, and the creativity is endlessly inspiring. I found Swamiji thru the music of Laura Nyro and Alice Coltrane who were both close to Swamiji at that time. Soon I will feature some music here of Alice Coltrane and Laura Nyro. Today I am happy to serve in whatever way I can to continue to share what was so freely given...

My Interests

If the song stops playing above just click twice on the left hand button and it will start again. I am living in Canada and am interested in many wonderful things. I love the loving spirited teachers who came into my life. The beautiful musicians, artists, poets, writers, photographers, and in general all creative souls who are aspiring to complete themselves in truth...thru whatever path appeals and calls to them...all true roads lead to Home...as Swami Satchidananda used to say "Truth is One, Paths are Many"

I'd like to meet:

like minded... open minded...creative souls ...gentle hearts...

Music:

ah so much music has passed through my life....I keep listening and marveling at the beauty and the inspiration... I was deeply touched in 1969 while listening to Laura Nyro...her voice was so beautiful and her lyrics were poetry...she was a true artist.

Books:

at the moment the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - an on going study group. Also right now study of Emily Dickinson.

At Twilight An Angel

At twilight an angel was standing in the garden. It is true, the wings are very beautiful. Even more spectacular, in a quieter way, is the light that shines out of the angel's body. Not the cold light...
