I first got into the "rave" scene in 1994, after hearing a tape of DJ Dougal @ Dreamscape 14, lent to me by an older cousin, and was instantly hooked on the sound! I then started buying mix tapes of various dj's like Carl Cox, Slipmatt, Sy, Mikey B, Ratty and Pilgrim, (i wont list them all, be here all day otherwise!!!) playing at events such as Fantazia, Obsession, Dance Planet, The Edge, Kinetic, Dreamscape, United Dance and Helter Skelter. I decided that i then wanted to take things a bit further as far as music was concerned, and brought my first set of decks just after leaving school in 1998, (Soundlab DLP 1600's!?!!??) and spent many hours in my bedroom teaching myself to mix playing Happy Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Hard Trance And Gabba. A few of my main influences at that time were HMS & Loftgroover, Scorpio, Hype, Mark eg, Sy & Hixxy. As my mixing gradually improved, i upgraded my decks to Technics 1200's / 1210's, and later on also brought a set of Pioneer CDJ 200's. ( I still prefer vinyl though!!!!!) At present i am playing mainly U.K. Hardcore, Dutch Gabber, Old Skool and Hard Dance, and have recently started to produce my own tracks..(Although i am a novice in this area!) I'm also a big Cricket, Football and Rugby fan, and I'm also a lifelong supporter of the mighty Liverpool F.C!!!!! P.S DONT FORGET, DONT BUY THE SUN NEWSPAPER!!! JFT 96!
