Maurice started his productions in the year of 2000 Independently; He did this before leaving ten years of service as a sheriff officer to continue pursuing his longing for the love of Entertainment which also stems from his background as a musician, since grown in record number... Akashic began in Chicago's Midwest, and now operates in Florida, MN, California, Arizona, Nevada and the Canadian Market... The facts speak for themselves; Maurice is no stranger to the inner working of the music industry with experience in marketing, promotions, public relations, tour, artist development and also worked with various successful music industry producers and successful independent record labels... Maurice involvement with qualified record label A&R / Music Producers has called upon his assistance; such as Greg (G-Wiz) Herth, Mark Roofe, Roofe had three #1 billboard top ten singles in the late 80s that got him his first Gold Record... Creation of the artist formerly R-Kelly that's when Mark got his first Platinum Record... Later M5 studios was born and a key anchor in support of R&B, Hip Hop and Latin in the Miami music industry. M5 worked with artists such as Janet Jackson, Trick Daddy, Trina, Pit Bull, Iconz, Adina Howard, No Mercy and more... Roofe became a member of the Grammy's and served as a Florida board of Governor... Producing and engineering dance & Latin music and worked with such artist as Miles j, Debbie Deb, Nice n Wild, two live crew, GLORIA ESTEFAN “HIGHER”(ENGINEER/REMIX) SONY/EPIC, FATHER MC (ENGINEER,LUKE/PRIORITY/SONY, R-KELLY (WHY YOU WANNA PLAY ME), R.J.HELTON ENGINEER AMERICAN IDOL 1st, JENNIFER FUENTEZ PRODUCER/ENGINEER AMERICAN IDOL 3rd, NADIA TURNER PRODUCE/ENGINEER, also producing commercial for Tropicana, Cayman Airline, Burdines and others... Maurice other working relationships has also included Rodney Skipworth Comprised of "Skipworth & Turner", and Daryl "Captain Sky" Cameron, and other productions with Roberto Blanchard of Blanchard Films, Writer/Producer Randy Holcomb Sr. Originally, Created, developed, wrote the hit T.V. Series New York Undercover, Dick Wolf is the Executive producer, also Executive Producer Jim White, who was chosen to participate in the annual Sundance Institutes Independent Producers Conference and produced /directed the TV doc, "The Invisible Men of House" "The Legend of the Buffalo Soldiers" Jim White is executive producer on "My Phamily BBQ, Too", T.V. Commercials and others... also Jerry Jones Producer writer: co-creator / writer of the 70's Rudy Ray Moore hit movie Dolemite... Akashic also assisted with Attack Records and Q&W Music for the album that went global; entitled The Great Chicago Fire, produced and written by Kanye West and Malik Yusef.
