FUNKACANA

About Me

Photos by Sharisse Coulter

Hey folks. Thanks for checking out my Myspace. I'm a singer songwriter producer originally from Logan City, Australia (near Brisbane and the Gold Coast) but recently I've spent many fun times in the U.S. I feel so lucky getting to travel and meet new people and find awesome beaches (and yummy food) all over, through playing music - music that aims to make people smile and dance and think. And if I get you to do one of those three things, I'm stoked. Cheers, Lee.
“Lee Coulter can bring his music to life with a guitar and a microphone, with all the tasteful rhythm, vocal presence and controlled intelligence of the best of the singer songwriters on any stage… He seems to see the world the way things are, but musters enough hope and simple joy to overcome the darkest observation.” – Billy Sheppard of RogueRadio.com.

"Like someone turned a Tazmanian Devil into a man and put a guitar in his hands...this is good time music that makes you dance and feeds your soul." - San Diego Troubadour Magazine.
"Coulter is a capable and prolific songwriter, frankly furtive and possessed of a sense of humor that is more observant than irreverent. His music and lyrics reflect a positive outlook that is galaxies away from the metallic gloom of his plugged-in contemporaries. How refreshing." - Honolulu Weekly
