About Me

Ladies and Gentlemen! Orphans and Dukes! Roll up, Roll up!
We are proud to introduce (to you, good folk) the mystifying, yet magnificent Catherine And The Owl! The quintessential quartet of mystery and melody alike. Revel in the music and majesty of these subtle hearts! Marvel at the beauty and horror that shapes all great works!
Join us now in these fading times! We swear to you, our comrades, that we shall never disappoint!
Catherine And The Owl are an Exeter-based band comprising of four members, each of which play a multitude of different instruments - ranging from guitars, mandolins, keyboards, violins - all the way down to theremin, glockenspiels and flute. Much of their electronic backline is home-built, including a whole host of de-harmonisers and archaic effects.
Formed in 2007, they have just recently recorded their debut EP ‘I’ - the launch of which saw them selected as band of the week on local radio station, Exeter F.M. They are currently unsigned and are adding to their resume of gigs, playing throughout the Southwest, so far supporting acts such as Enon, Ill Ease and Nigel Birch and the Flea Pit Orchestra.
