Its Not Real (on BCFM 93.2fm Tuesdays at 4pm!!!!!) is presented by three of the biggest casualties of Bristol's vibrant music scene.Ross is a "gangsta" fresh out of a New Orleans speak-easy circa 1932, trapped in a middle-class Englishman's body. Not adverse to phrases like “niiiiiice†and “oh yeeeeeeeeah†he's driven by a desire to find the funk in all aspects of life, apart from when he's trying to fit in a wildly inappropriate 20 minute guitar solo.Sam was brought up on acid techno from the age of 3 and has spent the years in between attempting to recover from this induction in the Stay Up Forever back catalogue. Not afraid to suggest that all tracks could do with “a bigger kick drum and a build up†he's the It's Not Real dance music expert, he breeds tarantulas in his spare time and natural light burns him.Keeping them under control is resident nerd-in-a-box and professional fader-stroker Guy. Recruited for his ability to generate virtual friends (by dint of his failure to find any in the real world) Guy will be in charge of communication with listeners during the show, attempting to maintain a professional façade as all around him lose their heads. He spends his spare time crying over angst-ridden indie music, bemoaning his failure to find a girlfriend. Most importantly Guy will be poking Ross and Sam with a big sharp stick should they even think about swearing.
