The Immortal Johnny Dance

About Me

The Immortal Johnny Dance mesmerised us with a set of rather disturbing cover songs he calls 'Dark Karaoke'. Satan knows I've tried but there is no better way to describe it. 'Hound Dog' and 'Everybody Loves Somebody' among others were delicately crooned over a pulsating mish-mash of sub-bass and grinding granite-like mangled sounds. There seems to be sinister subtlety lurking in the backing track which licks away at your inners like wicked little snake tongues slowly poisoning you with a hallucinogenic loveliness. You know what I'm talking about it's evil, you know it is. You shouldn't enjoy it but you do and you embrace it fully because you can't help it, it's like manor from hell.
