Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, check out TerryPratchettBooks.com . Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan ;(R.I.P.9/07) and other "books" from Audible.com on my Treo. I listen to books rather than read them, it is like listening to a movie. I listen in my car while driving and at the airport.
I have recently listened to books by Christopher Moore, you can find him on my friend list :)
