Billie V are two Frisian female musicians / composers who work together.
Sjouk – guitar – voice – syntesizer – samples. Jel – lyrics – drumcomputer
- bass guitar. In 2001 they decided to make music together, after each having played for many years in several bands. So they made their own studio and released three cd's: For Heaven's Sake (2002), Somedays (2004) and Reverse Angel (2005). Billie V makes as variety of different soundscapes, composed of experimental, ambient and triphoplike sounds, with a folkish way of singing and reverse played musical pieces.
We do live performances as well, based on tracks on our albums with a lot of improvisation.
