Yeti Island

"Coming Up, New Demo

About Me

Yeti Island is a Groovy Post-Rock, band formed in 2006. They come from a small place called Bøler, outside the city of Oslo, Norway. All band members grew up together, except Martin who got to know Joakim in 2006 thru his job. Yeti Island likes to experiment with echoes, reverbs, fuzzes, modulation, chorus, vibrato, distortion and many other effects. They are often out on ebay looking for vintage effects, Circuit Bent toys, keyboards etc. to improve both sound, and bringing new elements to the Yeti Island sound. At the time Yeti Island is in the process of recording 4 demos. (Thanks to Morten Stensland Brekke @ http://www.brekkelyd.no, and Stig Stimler for helping us with recording & mixing. We are very sorry for the delay in our demo progression, lately we..ve been working and saving money for new equipment, plus that Morten and Stig that are in possesion of recording equipment and undone demos have been away due to holiday. We're putting up demos as soon as they are complete, In other words, the nearest future... which is not that far off... We hope. Peace from the Island, YI
