daydrop

just a teenage shoegaze fan doing his kind of pop

About Me

daydrop originated as september girlfriend, a solo electronica/shoegaze unit. it adopted it's new name last november.
azusa suga, the songwriter/guitarist/vocalist of daydrop, was born in 1990. he lived in america for seven and a half years between 1990 - 1997. being introduced to the beatles and the beach boys in an early stage of his life by his father, he gradually developed a love of music and fantasized about an imaginary surf rock band in which he wrote songs and sang. he began composing on his ibook in 2006 under the influence of supercar. however, it was his encounter with my bloody valentine and ride in a nearby rental cd shop the same year that made him learn how to play the guitar and write non-instrumental songs. nuff said.
