Hello! My name is Andrew, and I am operating this site. First of all, I created none of this. This is all taken from the original fireonthealtar web site. (The link can be found to the left) I simply wanted to bring these compilations over to myspace in order to make them available to people. I know they have blessed me, as well as many other people, and they are powerful witnessing and prayer tools. They really preach if you listen to them. The views and opinions that are expressed on this site are my own, and are by no means a representation of the views held by the creator of the original site. So if you are angry or offended, be so at me, not him. He's a great guy and through him, God has blessed many people. I would like to one day meet him!
The reason I believe this to be so important is because we are clearly living in prophetic days. Meaning Bible prophecy is being fulfilled all around us, and the return of the Lord is fast approaching. Whether it be in this lifetime or some time down the road, one thing is true that no one can argue against: It's closer than it has ever been before. The Bible tells us of what the last days will be like. A time of great sorrow and war and famine and natural disaster, but more importantly, it will be a time of great spiritual harvest. I'm going to come out and say that I am sick of prosperity preaching and teaching that encourages Christians to focus their faith on having better, more comfortable lives!!!! I want to see the Church, the Body and Bride of Christ, arise and come into it's true calling, and that is serving the Lord Jesus Christ, and to do so by advancing the Kingdom of Heaven. The Gospel is not about personal gain, it's about personal sacrifice! There is a cross that we all must bear, and any doctrine, teaching, or belief that leads you to believe otherwise is false. The Church has got to wake up to the dangerous state of living it is in!! That's why I'm doing this! I'm not saying that I think this will change the world, but....why not? It could sure start! I just want to get people thinking, want to get them to do some soul searching. I want to lay down a spiritual challenge for all of us to step out of our quiet, ineffective way of Christian living that we have held onto for years. If this does not apply to you, then pray for us to whom it does. Also, any feedback or ideas you have would be appreciated. Thanks and God bless!!
