About Me

I was born in Genova (Italia) on December 5th 1983 and I started playing guitar when I was seven. I grew up as a self-taught player, studying and learning the techniques of many of the world's most talented guitar players such as Joe Satriani, Andy Timmons, Steve Vai, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert and Frank Gambale ecc. In the last five years I attended theory, harmony, composition and recording technique courses under the precious guide of my dear friends and musicians M. Quarenghi and Gianni Serino. I work in my recording studio in Genova where I also give private lessons. Moreover, I am a music teacher at Roland Music School. In 2005 I founded the Super Colossal Joe Satriani tribute band, formed by Ivan D’Ercole (bass guitar), Mario D’Andrea (rhythm guitar), Luca Brunetti (drum) and me, at the lead guitar. The Super Colossal Band (www.myspace.com/supercolossaltribute) offers a two hour- live show, extremely close to the original versions. I am currently playing with Maestro Adriano Mondini and Gianni Serino in the music project X-Press Classic, with a wide repertoire, ranging from classical music to jazz. I am also working on various music projects in USA, Texas, with Frank Henicke "Bugz". (http://www.myspace.com/bugzband ) and with James Anderson (http://www.myspace.com/rattlinbones1 ). I met Frank and James on MySpace, where we built up a really special friendship and gave shape to a fruitful collaboration that are going to last in the future. Ed Palmer is another dear friend of mine from the States, in Portland, Oregon (http://www.myspace.com/grampaanalog ) who is broadcasting some of the tunes played by me on KWTF frequencies (http://www.kwtfworldwide.com ), a US radio station of pure rock music. Thanks to the web broadcasting, KWTF is listened to from all over the world.------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------- ..---------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------
