A group of neighbours got together christmas eve 2004 and started making noise round a camp fire. Improvments were made including the making of our own instruments , the larger phone , T/ea-Chest bass and lots of practice. Paydirt started getting requests to perform at local functions including tsumi fundraising function, raspberry fair middle kinglake primary russell kellet ch 31 saturday arvo at st andrews our first big gig. Our first real highlight was S A P australia at the grand mecure hotel mt bulla then 2 days later won the busking competition at wcmf.Since then paydirt have been on channel 9 morning weather progam with steve jacobs ,various local pubs or clubs , private functions as well as many community functions which was always done for free. After mixing with some of the countries finest country music artists at this years Wcmf paydirt will finally be working on its debut cd in the next coming month/s .We will be at the kinglake festival which of course we will do again for free !
