Travis Sinclair is definitly unique. Sold out shows, No.1 after No.1 hits, numerous awards including a Golden Guitar for best new talent... all of this being totally independent with no record label behind him. Through hard work, perserverance and good music, Travis has become one of the biggest names in Australian country music... never letting the so called 'Trends' affect his style.
Travis was raised in a little country town called Springhurst on Highway 31, Victoria. Growing up as a Sinclair meant 22 wheels, country music, and a daily injection of dieseline. Life was tough from a family point of view Dad is a trucker and seemed to be away most of the time, so Mum and grandfather Cannonball did what they could to help him grow.
His family has been in the transport industry for some 80 years so it was natural that he would follow, but his love for country music has always been strong and the desire to perform grew day by day. He began to sing and play, and after encouragement from the likes of Tania Kernaghan, he started doing gigs locally and interstate. He was honored to be chosen to tour Australia with The Man From Snowy River Arena Spectacular as understudy to Lee Kernaghan for ten weeks in 2002.
Travis has had an amazing career since the release of his debut album 'Rhythm Of The Highway'. His duet with Lee Kernaghan, 'Im From The Country', was number 1 for three weeks on the Country Tracks Chart. His 2nd album 'RUSH' produced 5 No.1 hits... plus, 2009 will see a BRAND NEW ALBUM for Australian country star, Travis Sinclair.
