I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am married and I have a son 15. I met my husband Zane Kesey, (check out Zane, he is first on my friends list), while we where attending the University of Oregon, 26 years ago (yikes!!). I studied psychology with minors in English literature and women's studies. After a four year stint in Los Angeles, working in the corporate world, I returned to Eugene Oregon and started Key-Z Productions with my husband 20 years ago. I was Vince Welnick's,(Grateful Dead), personal manager and I managed his band MMF and have met a lot of amazing musicians a long the way. I worked on a lot of once in a life time projects with my father in law, Ken Kesey. I have seen a lot of Grateful Dead shows, a lot of other concerts and festivals, and I have done a lot of traveling, I hope to do a lot more in the future. I am currently spearheading the restoration of the original Further bus through my new non profit called Further Down The Road Foundation, (look for it soon) and I am working on several documentary projects. But by far the thing I enjoy the most is spending time with my son,.. family and friends and listening to great music. I am a vegetarian and think that the food chain is barbaric. We have a lot of animals at our home. My son is a chess prodigy who holds many state, national and international titles and won The American Chess Open this year. He also plays the saxophone, is a life guard, is a junior Deacon at our church, and is a defensive end on the football team. He has traveled the world, including a six week visit to India to work in the villages with the untouchables. Caleb was 3 when Jerry died, and he had 30 Dead shows under his belt at the time, he remembers only a few now. His best friend, until his death, was his grandfather Ken Kesey. They took many trips together including The Grand Further Tour with the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and the six week long WheresMerlin Tour aboard Further in Europe. Caleb is a freshman in high school now. His goals are to attend Stanford University and become an environmental engineer. Caleb is a published poet and writes short stories. And as I am sure you can tell by reading this; I am a very proud mom!!!!! -
