About Me

After I was born I went home to be greeted by music. I guess I never really looked back from there on. Singing/songwriting began around the age of 11yrs old. Primarily I was influenced by my parents who would constantly play music in the house such as Reggae and Soul.As a teenager I started writing songs and began recording them on an old tape deck. I knew exactly how I wanted the songs to start and end. I could always envision how I wanted the production to sound therefore as well as recording my own voice I would hum how I'd wanted the bass to go and then start working on the harmonies. I didn't come from a stage school background and spent most of my time in and out of school writing, singing and listening to music. As much as I wanted music to remain a hobby it was evident that it was not going anywhere and it would remain with me for life. I went from recording from an old tape deck to recording at a proffesional studio in Acton (West London). I was introduced to Michael Francis who taught me about music, life and how to be a proffessional player. I began recording numerous tracks and during that period I learnt how powerful music was and still is. Music is my world! I am compassionate about what I do and I enjoy songwriting as well as recording and performing. If I had one wish it would be to be known Internationally as well as in the U.K. I believe I express myself best when I sing..guess It's a personal thing. Most of my Lyrics are based on life, what life has thrown at me and the relationships i have ben through."I tend to write what is true to life because it's coming from my Heart + Soul, although it's good to let your imagination run wild ever so often".
