About Me

On this page the first two songs that you may listen to are from an upcoming full length to be released in September of 2006. When the heat is leaving us and the fall is just waiting to set in. All music is being recorded at Hear the Ocean Studios(see the Top 8).The album will simply be titled The Kill a Man Sessions The third track was recorded in the winter of 2005 by John Bolles of The Allegra Recording Company. Back when there was a drummer and David was referred to as a band Funny. David Janes, born in Nashville and raised in various parts of Pennsylvania, calls Philadelphia his home. Living in the simple city for a few years now he recently has grabbed hold of the sound hes been seakin for years. Listen, youll hear it. Davids songs range from tender love songs to that of psycho-dramatic dream songs about ghosts and vampires. His voice can be delicate and soaring in falsetto tones and at other times low down dirty and mean! All the while punching out the chords on his trusty Gibson J-50, Its my best investment, ever! he once said. David is faithfully backed by Nathan Gonzalez on the guitar, accordion and the piano. Together, you see a chemistry that is undeniable. In even the most broken down and desperate of songs Nathan weaves sweet and sparse melody that captures you instantly! Take a look at the list of upcoming shows and hopefully therell be an event near you! If not there are ways of contact below so that it can be arranged. Thanks for reading. Hope to see ya soon!
